Round Worms

Roundworms are one of the more common type of parasite, and infestation occurs through oral contact with either infected meat or hand to mouth contact after touching infected feces. Roundworms will usually in the small intestines, although they have been known to make their way to the lungs or up into the stomach. They range from roughly 10cms to about 35cms in length, with the females being slightly larger than the males.

Flukes are another form of an intestinal worm. They live in the small intestines and cause inflammation. The usual symptoms are abdominal discomfort, nausea and diarrhea which is caused by the inflammation. If there are too many worms they can cause a blockage of the intestines. Some individuals may also suffer an infection from the foreign proteins in the parasite which appears as fluid build up in the face, abdomen and lower limbs.

Most  colonic cleansers will rid your system of worms, the best ones are usually a natural one. A combination of psyllium husk powder, flax seed oil and bentonite clay (all of which you can find at your local health food store) mashed into a paste and mixed with juice (preferably a pulpy juice such as orange juice) is a good natural worm cleanser. The mixture should be drunk twice a day, morning and night. After 3 days you should notice a change in your stools and energy and you may see worms in your stools. The cleanse should be continued for 2 weeks.
